LGBTQ+ Resources

Below is a list of support hotlines that anyone can contact in the event of a crisis or in the need of support. 

  • Trevor Lifeline (866-488-7386) for LGBTQ youth in crisis is free and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can also ask for help on TrevorChat or TrevorText.
  • Trans Lifeline (877-565-8860) is primarily for transgender people experiencing a crisis, including struggles with gender identity and being unsure about ones identity. They welcome any transgender person in need of assistance. 
  • The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (800-273-8255) can be reached 24/7. While this hotline is for anyone in need of support, it can also be used as a resource for the LGBTQ+ community. 
  • Trans Lifeline (877-565-8860) is a grassroots hotline and microgrants 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.

There is also multiple LGBT hotlines that can be found at LGBT National Help Center.
